A little “Salty Dog Throwback”

In 1978 when Bruce Miller was in the process of opening his first surf shop, he was contemplating what to use as the shops logo. Local artist and friend Paul Baliker suggested using a likeness of Bruce as the logo, and proceeded to carve likeness into a piece of driftwood. That sculpted piece of driftwood became the centerpiece of his first shop on East International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach. Serval years later the logo was switched to the now famous dog logo depicting everyones best friend “Salty” headed to a day at the beach!

Recently there has been an interest in receiving the original logo by people still owning the vintage shirt. So…here it is, reprinted as a limited addition along side the original shirt and original carving. Get your piece of vintage Salty Dog!
